"I wanted to write this review to point out just how invaluable this kit was during my bitches labour yesterday. I purchased the Select Whelping Kit.
To the point, yesterday, my Border Collie bitch went into labour, there were several complications and the delivery of 3 pups took a total of 12 hours. I'd had both of my parents who have bred dogs in the past tell me that it "wouldn't be needed" and that it was a waste money. I tracked my girl's temperature over the course of a week with the provided thermometer (sanitiser helped clean it too) so I had a good warning before she went into labour. I'll spare full details but with the provided gloves, I pulled out and saved two pups who's sacks had been damaged inside the womb, with the scissors (+ grip) I quickly removed what was left of the sacks, their umbilical cords etc., with aspirator I eventually got them breathing, the mother was struggling to much to tend to them. The disposable mats provided helped get them out of the mess from the birth (as I said complications) and knowing I could sanitise the environment around them quickly helped. There were other items I didn't have to use (yet). But coloured bands, feeding kit etc. are all useful things if you need them.
The reason for the long account is simply this, ALWAYS be prepared, and you're far better safe than sorry. I'd recommend grabbing one of their more complete kits containing milk mixture, and other things which allow you to better monitor and deal with any unforeseen circumstances.

"I purchaced some Vet Bed Fleece as we were about to take our 2 Guinea Pigs on a long car journey , I didnt want them to catch cold .... they were lovely and cozy and warm on the Vet Bed Fleece ... also it kept the dry as any fluids are soaked through leaving the top dry. Excellent!! "

''I have tried many methods of safely & effectively housing my babies, from using plastic baskets, right up to the extremely expensive high end whelping boxes & several in between I may add. Warwick whelping boxes are without a doubt, the very best quality & price available on the market. They are sturdy, comfortable & very easy to clean and dismantle. My dogs love them & so do I! I especially like the interchangeable door in two sections, which you can have at one bar for new borns, 2 bars for toddlers and 3 bars for older puppies. Once you have tried one of these boxes and see how good they are for yourself, you will be back for more.
